Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza's parents were both Irish and Mexican American. Her birthplace was in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. In Texas, she embarked on a profession in physical therapy. De La Garza stayed in Texas only a short time prior to moving to Orlando Florida. She took part in many different kinds of acting roles, including local independent films and commercials. Despite her small roles, she soon discovered her love in acting. After that, she relocated to New York in 2001 and landed her very first job in acting as Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. In the early 2000s she had small roles on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first big series role was the short-lived television drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred alongside a number of the famous TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress-TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is given for outstanding performances in the drama show. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She played Marisol Deko in the role of spouse of the actor David Caruso's Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. After just two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory who is Italian from a family of Italian heritage. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano began her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her in an audition. Four girls selected among over a thousand applicants included Milano. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway as well, such as the American musical version from Jane Eyre.
